Terms of Service

1. Who you are contracting with
FlagRight is operated by Corey James Radford, trading as BowtieTech ("BowtieTech", "we", "us"). By creating an account or continuing to use the service, you agree to these Terms. If you use FlagRight on behalf of a shop or dealership, you confirm you have authority to accept these Terms.
2. What FlagRight is
FlagRight is a technician productivity tool: repair-order time tracking, a bay timer, performance statistics, a Concern/Cause/Correction documentation aid, and a technician notes database. It is an independent tool. FlagRight and BowtieTech are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by General Motors. Any labor times, categories, or examples shown are estimates and illustrations only.
3. Your responsibility for labor times and warranty claims
Times, notes, audit checklists, and generated stories are aids — not authorizations. You and your dealership remain solely responsible for verifying all labor times, operations, and warranty documentation against current manufacturer service information and your dealer's warranty policies before submission.
4. Acceptable use
You must not misuse the service: no unlawful use, fraud or spam, infringement of others' intellectual property, and no interference with the service (malware, probing, scraping, or attempts to bypass technical limits). You may not resell or redistribute the service.
5. Your data
Your RO descriptions, private repair notes, and tracked times belong to you. We process them only to provide the service. Do not enter customer personal information beyond what your work requires; you are responsible for the data you choose to store. Notes you explicitly share to the community fixes database may be visible to other members.
6. Accounts and credentials
Keep your login credentials confidential. You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your account information accurate.
7. Billing, trial and cancellation
New members receive a 14-day free trial. After the trial, Membership renews monthly at $12.99/month plus a $1.15/month service fee unless you cancel before the trial ends. You can cancel anytime from your account page or the billing portal; access continues until the end of the paid period. Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns. Payment, billing, tax, cancellation, and refund mechanics are also governed by Paddle's Buyer Terms.
8. Service level and warranties
We work to keep FlagRight available and accurate, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free performance. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all implied warranties, including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.
9. Intellectual property
BowtieTech retains all ownership of the service and its intellectual property, including software, documentation, and branding. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the service within your plan.
10. Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, BowtieTech is not liable for indirect, consequential, or special damages (including lost profits, lost data, or lost goodwill). Our aggregate liability is capped at the fees you paid in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these Terms limits liability for fraud, death, or personal injury where the law does not allow it.
11. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate access for material breach, non-payment, security or fraud risk, or repeated or serious policy violations. When your access ends, you may request an export of your data for 30 days, after which it may be deleted.
12. Changes
We may update these Terms; material changes will be announced in the app. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
